"Jordan’s not only a talented designer, he’s a consummate professional and super strategic too, meaning he adds immense value to any project… beyond the pixel perfect designs. When with Shadowboxer Jordan worked on a range of projects, from UX/UI concepts to web design to branding to investor memorandum development, each time delivering above and beyond. A truly ambidextrous extension to the team that I know we’ll work with again."

Operating as a design freelancer, I dove into a medley of client-facing projects. I had the unique opportunity to collaborate closely with developers, designers, and strategists, as well as one of Shadowboxer's founders, filling in the gaps and jumping into projects that needed a creative boost. My main medium was graphic design, but I also ventured into web design, crafting a website for one of our clients. Twice a week, I traded my home office for the vibrant energy of Shadowboxer's Richmond office, where I learned the art of teamwork in a bustling professional environment. I'm now a regular at Fishbowl on Swan St...

Trendii: Transforming image and video content into instant shopping experiences, Trendii was a canvas for my creativity. I crafted a comprehensive Investor Memorandum (IM) deck, complete with fresh layouts and assets, all while adhering to brand guidelines. I also designed sleek HTML email signatures, complete with team member photos, to ensure their communications were as stylish as their brand. I worked closely with the designer who created the Trendii brand and had direct communication with the team at Trendii throughout the process.
Fandelo + Greenroom360: These social media and talent management platforms connect fans with their favorite celebrities, musicians, and athletes, while creating more transparency between talent and management. I created IMs for both, drawing inspiration from previous decks but ultimately crafting new assets, layouts, and flows to elevate their presentations. I was given plenty of autonomy on this project and worked closely with the founders at the company.
Sleeptite: Focused on enhancing health and wellbeing through advanced sleep solutions. I developed an IM that captured their innovative spirit and commitment to aged care. I was part of a team creating this one, made up of designers, a copy writer, and a strategist.
Little Fish to Big Fish: This boutique marketing consultancy needed a website transformation. Starting with a simple Squarespace site, I revamped it into a fully-fledged online presence. I created new graphics, refined their color palette, and established a cohesive brand tone and feel, resulting in a live site that truly represents their identity: www.littlefishtobigfish.com. With general assistance from one of the co-founders of Shadowboxer, I worked essentially solo on this project with the founder of LFtBF.

Experience
Experience
Shadowboxer was my first foray into a professional team environment, and I was determined to fit in seamlessly. As a company with a senior-heavy roster, every interaction was a golden opportunity to learn. My in-office days were spent absorbing insights from seasoned designers, engineers, strategists, and founders. The hybrid work structure was incredibly rewarding, and despite my freelancer status, I felt like a quasi-member of the team, experiencing the camaraderie and dynamics of a company firsthand.
